Ry and I were aimlessly wondering around TST with a big, cheesy slice of Paisano’s pizza one evening, when we decided to check out Victoria Harbour at night.
Pretty spectacular, huh?!
Luckily for us, we arrived just before the Symphony of Lights started!
So we found a nice little spot on the harbour front with many other excited spectators.
Casual monk on his smart phone.
Ryan took a cool photo of the moon 🙂
A Symphony of Lights is a synchronized light show involving 44 buildings on both sides of the harbor. It features colourful lights and laser beams synchronized to music and narration that celebrates the energy, spirit and diversity of Hong Kong.
The five main themes are: Awakening, Energy, Heritage, Partnership and Celebration. You can find out more here.
It is held every night at 8pm for 15 minutes (with good weather).
It has also been labeled the ‘World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show’ by the Guinness World Records, pretty impressive!
Although it’s definitely worth a visit, it was a bit too cheesy for our taste, maybe the pizza overloaded us! :p
After the show, we popped over to KFC 🙂
Pretty sure the slogan isn’t ‘disposable-glove lickin’ good.’
However, as a strong, independent woman, I resisted against peer pressure and savoured all eleven secret herbs and spices on my fingertips! 😉
At the end of the night, we found a noisy, little arcade under a shopping mall in Mong Kok.
I love this drumming game, even though I have no hand-eye coordination. Ryan’s much better at it…
Anyway, hope everyone’s having/had a fab day, I’m off to bed, laters alligators! ^.^
