Wednesday 21st August
Disneyland day had finally arrived and I couldn’t have been any more excited!
I woke up singing/shouting “Disneyland, Disneyland, Disneyland!”
I then proceeded to put on my dress and twirled around the house like a beautiful princess.
We set off on a gorgeous summer’s day, riding the MTR to Sunny Bay, where we were greeted by the Disney train to take us to the land where dreams come true!
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mickey surfing on a whale’s spout!
The parade was rad, though everyone having their umbrellas up wasn’t.
C’mon people, tans are sexy!
Also, they really need to get some younger girls to play the Princesses…
The Disney Castle was surprisingly small but it was still magical!
We popped over to Toy Story Land, where Ryan and Luke went on the terrifying RC Racer, which is a car that goes up and down that massive orange ramp behind me…
…while Sarah and I opted for the Slinky Dog Spin.
Though the one minute ride was not worth the long wait!
How cool is this bench made out of giant ice-lolly sticks?!
Deciding where to go for lunch…
We ended up at the Royal Banquet Hall, which looked like a really big and fancy school dinner hall.
They had all types of food, which was awesome as I’ve been craving fish and chips for ages!
After lunch, we went for a leisurely ride on ‘It’s a Small World,’ which was relaxing and beautiful.
They put so much effort into all displays.
Sorry about the crap photo quality, it’s really hard to get a decent picture when everything’s dark and moving! :p
Strolling over to Adventure Land, we boarded the Jungle River Cruise with a hilarious ‘skipper’ by the name of Way.
There were life-like models of hippos coming out of the river, elephants at the side squirting water and these rhinos, just to name a few!
All that relaxation came to an end when Ryan persuaded me to go on Space Mountain.
I stayed in the position, screaming and holding Ryan’s hand for dear life for the entire ride.
Despite this, it was really fun and I felt so proud of myself for going on it! 😀
As night began to fall, we made our way over to Fantasty Land, which looked even more magical with all the twinkly lights!
Lookin’ good guys 😉
The Cinderella Carousel!
The Mad Hatter Tea Cups went surprisingly fast once you got spinning!
This is my favourite video.
At the end of the day, we made our way back to the castle to watch the awesome fireworks display!
An absolutely shattering but awesome day! Especially for Ryan 😉
