The mountain in our back yard

Last Summer, Ryan and I attempted to climb the mountain behind our apartment in 30 degree heat. This was a ridiculously bad idea that resulted in numerous mosquito bites and exhaustion that lead us to give up half way.

However January’s warm temperatures and cool breeze provided us with perfect mountain-climbing weather. This time I popped on a pair of leggings to ward away those pesky mosquitoes and mastered our way to the top!

Here is a photo diary of our journey…you know what they say:

“A picture is worth a thousand words.” 😉

  1. Lovely mountain and lovely photos but I regret I may have to wait until we meet up to hear what you think of your HK experience. Photos are fine but they tell us nothing about what you are feeling. J.

    • Feel free to refer to the climb from last year for similar commentary – the link is at the start of this post. It was an enjoyable walk and it felt great to reach the top this time! You can probably tell that we were pretty happy from looking at the photos 😉
