One of Craig’s top priorities of visiting Hong Kong was to check out the Bruce Lee statue on the Avenue of Stars.
So off we set to find the man, the myth, the statue.
The skyline was the perfect backdrop for Finbar’s inner thespian.
Craig, the producer.
Of course we had to capture a photo of the Star Ferry crossing the harbour.
This was Craig and Finbar’s first experience of having to drop all niceties in the process of wrestling fellow tourists for a photo with a golden pig.
We found him!
Craig’s number one destination ticked off by the third day.
Game over, time to go home.
Continuing on the walk along the harbor, we bumped into some of Finbar and Craig’s fans!
After a brief photo shoot, we decided to ask our new friend to take a photo of us with the Aqualuna in the background. He had one shot…
Next stop was Donguri Republic, the Studio Ghibli shop in the LCX mall.
Craig was excited to see a shop dedicated to his inner child.
The purchase of a Kiki-themed floor mat and some movie screen prints later, it was time to head back to Tuen Mun to meet Queenie for dinner.
We headed over to 1981 Fusion, which is one of mine and Queenie’s favourite local eateries, serving up affordable, quality Western food in a small and cosy, dimly lit restaurant with only 5-6 tables.
Luckily there was enough room to squeeze us in and the super friendly waitress rattled off their daily specials to us.
Here’s a little collage of our nosh!
After dinner, Finbar and I discovered Springbokkies i.e. shooters consisting of Amarula Cream and peppermint liqueur.
