Video Diaries (2012 – 2014)

Our first ever video, created back in England. We visited Brighton, one of our favourite UK destinations, for two days in December!

This was the most difficult video to create, as we did the whole process together. Whereas nowadays, I write down all the editing details and either Ry or I will put it together on After Effects, which really speeds up the process. It was also a time before we’d discovered how to stitch the clips together automatically, so it was all done manually, which was an absolute ball-ache.

However we’re really happy with the results, so we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! 😀

Expect: fairy lights, fur coats, Ben’s Cookies (DREAMY), an epic sunset, vintage shops, mulled wine, sushi and fry ups!

Ry arrived in Hong Kong on May 1st, so of course we had to make the most of his time before starting work!

Featuring: Mong Kok (the busiest district in the world), booty shaking in LKF, the iconic Victoria Harbour, skyline and The Peak.

Over the Summer, we visited: The Big Buddha, Cheung Chau Island, Gold Coast Beach, The Studio Ghibli shop, Times Square and Ocean Park!

I played tour-guide for a week in August, when one of my best friends, Sarah, flew half way across the world to see me!

Here are a few snippets from Ocean Park and Disneyland 😀

Our Easter holiday to Thailand! 😀

Featuring: Aaonang, Railay, Koh Lanta (Kantiang Bay), Krabi, Phi Phi Island and Patong!

The first video that featured us talking, rather than the usual indie soundtrack 😉

This is an introductory video to who we are and what our blog’s about.

It’s surprisingly nerve-wracking to talk to a camera, so there were loads of outtakes, but we decided to keep some in for your viewing pleasure, you lucky things!

Next up is a tour of our local town centre in Tuen Mun.

Featuring: a purple dinosaur, food markets, a gaming mall and a clothes mall.

Ry’s bff’s, Finbar and Craig, came to HK and we showed them around Mong Kok during the protests.

Featuring: Langham Place, 4 person air-hockey, the Ladies Market and vintage shopping.

The most recent addition to our channel is the first of Marianne’s 2 day stopover in HK before heading to Australia.

Featuring: Central, Sheung Wan, The Peak, Times Square and an epic Japanese buffet in Mong Kok.
