For our third Halloween in Hong Kong, we finally got dressed up and did something for it! 😀
It fell on a Saturday last year, we all had Sunday off and we now live in the perfect location in the centre of Hong Kong (as opposed to out in the sticks).
As Ry had Saturday off work, he took charge of decorating the flat and he did an excellent job of it!
Ness very kindly made some awesome Halloween treats for us!
It was a pretty chill night of chatting, pizza and a few horror films playing in the background.
This is Sally; facepaint and hairstyle extraordinaire 😉
Hermina also wanted some face-paint action.
I suggested Bowie and the rest is history.
Ry also did a beaut job of decorating our balcony and he makes a great nun too, eh? 😉
Big thanks to Cynthia for doing my eye make-up!
Seductive as always.
A few Instax from the night.
Although we did have plans to go to a bunker party in a secret location, we left it a bit late and it was quite a trek to get there. We decided to walk to Victoria Harbour instead to show Hermina’s friend, Rhiannon, the iconic HK skyline.
Walking down Mong Kok high street at around midnight, we came across a one-minute caricaturist who did a rather fab job!
If you’re ever in the area, do give it a go. You can pay as much or as little as you like, too.
After walking through Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei and Jordan, we finally arrived at the iconic Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Unfortunately, the Avenue of Stars was closed for construction so we couldn’t walk along it and show Rhiannon the Bruce Lee statues or the handprints of HK celebrities but she got to see the skyline which is the main thing!
Although it was rather late, there were lots of people out and about in fancy dress and there was a band playing, too!
I was also introduced to Cynthia’s amazing massages!
She could easily be a masseuse if teaching didn’t work out 😉
Big thanks to everyone for making our Halloween so fun last year! ❤
